Pablo Sarrazin, member of the KCMG Driver Development Project (KCMG-DDP), continues his first French F4 campaign this weekend, as the championship visits Circuit de Pau-Ville, racing the famously tight streets of the southwestern French city of Pau .
Sarrazin showed promising pace in the 2022 season opener in Nogaro, gaining traction on the #4 Mygale M21-F4 and improving all weekend. The French youngster had a best finish of 12th in Race 2, making several great overtakes to make up for seven positions.
The 16-year-old will make his first appearance at the 2,769-kilometer circuit in his debut single-seater season, where the race returns to the legendary Circuit de Pau-Ville for the first time since 2019. Grand Prix in 1930, and is known for its twisty layout and clean walls, often compared to the Monte Carlo street circuit.

“I learned a lot during my debut with Nogaro and I’m looking forward to showing some improvements this weekend in Pau. There were a lot of positives from Nogaro, such as my starts and overtaking, but I’m aiming to improve my qualifying performance to give me a better chance of getting points. It’s great to have Edo with me, he’s a very experienced driver and he’s helped me develop during race weekends. We’ll have to be careful in Pau, it’s a very tight track, so going over the limit will most likely end in an accident. Qualifying will be very important this weekend as it will be difficult to overtake on such a narrow track.”

“I’ve never been to Pau, so it will be a new experience for both of us. None of the drivers on the grid have raced here, so the playing field will be flatter this weekend. Qualifying will be more important here than in Nogaro as it is a street circuit and very difficult to overtake at Pau. We are aiming for Pablo to qualify in the top ten to give him the best chance of scoring points. We work well together and use the videos and his onboards to analyze his strengths and where he can improve, so I’m excited to continue with Pablo in Pau this coming weekend.”
